I got to spend New Years Day with my dad this year and as we were watching an old baseball game on Youtube, I remembered that the Tournament of Roses Parade was on.

"Hey Apa, you wanna watch the parade?"

"No."

"OK."

Then he said. "Remember when I took you to see it live?"

"Yes."

"Good."

He went back to watching the game and smiled as if to say, "Let's not talk about it ever again."
